To Milly my very special niece,
 This poem is just for you!
You were born on the 9th of September,
We were only just ready too!

You arrived in your home town of Harrogate,
You were named Amelia Grace,
We were all choked up and lost for words,
To see your beautiful face!

Your Mum, your Dad, your Grandad and I,
Had all worked day and night,
Getting your new home ready for you,
As time was extremely tight!

We finally finished all our hard work,
With only one week to spare!
We were all so very excited,
Exhausted, but dancing on air!

All our hard work was worth it,
Your arrival had us in tears!
You will always be loved and doted on,
Both now and through the coming years!

Your Grandma and Grandad are over the moon,
As are the whole family!
Your Mum and Dad are amazing,
Great parents they are sure to be!

So here's to a life of adventure,
Success, fun, and joy galore,
Mountains of love from your Uncle Mike,
Health, happiness and much more!
