I’m so very sorry my darling Ben,

But my mother is stuck in Malta;
Campaigning for release from jail,
Of my wayward Uncle Walter!

I have to go and be nearby,
To give her some moral support;
He’s been sentenced to life for treason you see,
I so wish he hadn’t got caught!

The chances are that I will be gone,
For a fair few years or more;
I don’t expect you to wait for me,
When my return date is so unsure!
