On Mother’s Day, this year,
We do hope we’ve brought you joy at times,
And you've not shed too many a tear!

We're sorry we’ve caused you such worry,
Over the last twenty years or more;
We know that we've caused you lots of stress,
And you've always still opened your door!

You are always there with a listening ear,
And some lovely homemade biscuits too!
We’ve survived OK in this life so far,
But we wouldn't have done without you!

And now that you are a Grandmother too,
You're appreciated even more;
For adding magic to the lives,
Of Harry, Tom and Elinor!
