You've slaved here for most of your working life,

And now you're getting ready to go;
We've all enjoyed working with you at this place,
And we're really gonna miss you so!

Your work has always been first class,
As the Office Manager here;
And we'll never forget your smiling face,
You always brought such great cheer!

But now you're retiring to the Costa del Sol,
With Anna, your lovely wife,
Leaving the kids to fend for themselves,
Here in this fair city of Fife!

Goodness knows what we'll do now,
When we can't find the right bloody file;
And who else will be at the office party,
Attired in such outrageous style!

So here's to you Bob on your retirement,
Leave us all here battling with the printer!
But at least we've got one happy consolation:
Guess where we're coming for a break next winter!
