A great big 'thank you' to Sarah Lou,
You've been so kind to me;
You're always lending me a listening ear,
Over a lovely cup of tea!
When no-one else was there for me,
Your bright eyes cheered my heart;
I always knew you were full of kindness,
Right from the very start!
So I couldn't think of a better way,
To express my appreciation,
Than to dedicate this poem to you,
I hope it brings joy and elation!
We've had lots of laughs over the last ten years,
And we've shed loads of anguished tears too;
I don't know what I'd have done without you,
But I'm sure I'd be sad and blue!
