Are you quite sure you know what you're doing?,
In your heart is there any doubt?
We'd just like to reassure you,
It's never too late to opt out!

Only joking, we know you love Peter,
Anyone can see that;
Even though he can't or won't cook,
And he's not very fond of your cat!

We know he's our son but he can be a pain,
'Though it's clear he's the husband for you;
He's your confidante, playmate and best friend,
What more could you wish for, it's true!

And seeing as it's your wedding day,
We thought we'd give you something new,
So here is a very special poem
That's been written just for you!

We really wish you all the best,
A marriage of magic and wonder;
We're looking forward to Grandkids,
Hurry up, before we're 6 feet under!

We're over the moon our naughty little boy,
Has found such a lovely wife!!
